Adidas Soccer ball was tested

Adidas had created this soccer ball with an intergrated microchip in it and it was tested by FIFA. Fortunately the ball succesfully tested by them. The function of the microchip is to signal when the ball is passing to the goal line, meanwhile the chip that meassures 15cm inside the soccer ball sends out an encrypted radio signal to several antennas. This ball will be tested next in japan. Maybe this ball will be used at the Soccer World Cup in Germany 2006.

The picture at the top is not real. Actually the real ball is not smiling like that. Maybe it want to show to us how intelligent it is.[via]
