Telscope 100 Times More Powerful Than Hubble

November 22, 2005
According to Wired News, astronomers are preparing to build the world's largest telescope that could be 100 times more powerful than the Hubble and will peer back to the very beginning of the universe.

The new TMT (Thirty-Meter Telescope) will be the first of a new generation of massive Earth-based telescopes that will far eclipse today's largest observatories.

The TMT scope will be so large, it will be housed in an observatory the size of a football stadium resembling an eyeball.

The TMT project will be the first realization of a new breed of super-scopes, known as Giant Segmented Mirror Telescopes. The National Academy of Sciences, in a report called "Astronomy and Astrophysics in the New Millennium," said these scopes are the top priority for ground-based astronomy.

Making the Red Planet Green

When i read this tittle, i wonder, how the scientist can figure out how to grow Earth plant on the red planet ( Mars) .I think it's good because It's the first step toward supporting humans on the planet, but not everyone is keen on the idea. You can read the article about this below.

Inside a chamber about the size of a small fridge in Greenville, Indiana, scientists are taking the first steps toward creating human settlements on Mars.

The chamber, called the Martian Environment Simulator, was put together by scientific engineering company SHOT and NASA's Institute for Advanced Concepts. Scientists are using it to determine how to grow plants in greenhouses on other planets, and hope it will eventually aid people living and working on Mars, as well as provide insight to the evolution of planetary life.

Ancient 'godzilla' discovered

A newfound ancient sea creature looks to be part crocodile, part T. rex, and 100 percent terrifying.

The 13-foot long beast, Dakosaurus andiniensis, had a massive 18-inch-long jaw with interlocking 4-inch teeth. It is a long-lost relative of the crocodile yet it had fins.

A digital rendering of the creature reveals the sort of thing typically reserved for horror movies.

The sheer strangeness of the Dakosaurus andiniensis, found in South America and announced today, led its discoverers to call it Godzilla after the huge, amphibious, dinosaur-like movie icon.[via]

Wolf Claw II FPS Keyboard

November 11, 2005
This is exactly the concept behind the Wolf Claw II. A circle of all the important FPS keys surrounds your left hand in a unique configuration. Arranging your fighting space, and centering your FPS energy. The keys are made to be silent, adding a little verisimilitude to any stealth gaming operation.

The Wolf Claw II also features two revolutionary advancements. First, is the vertical space bar. It falls directly under your left thumb, which lets you keep your thumb in its natural position. Second, is the K-Lock key. Many online FPS games use the K key as a press-to-talk button. Well, now you can just kit the K-Lock, and talk all you want. Add two USB ports, some internet hot keys, and you have perhaps the greatest FPS keyboard ever designed.
